I was shocked when I checked my phone and saw a missed call. I called the number, and the babe on the other side told me she was from Fidelity Bank, and I had won a romantic dinner with an influencer and 100k.

Lol. I just started laughing. Cos, what are these jokes you people are passing up and down like this? I sha asked her if it was a prank and whether it was one of all these TikTok stuff. She said it wasn't o, that it was real. She told me to check Fidelity Bank's Instagram handle for the post. The post said people who applied for a debit card during this period could win.

Some days back, I got a mail from Fidelity Bank saying they gave their customers free ATM cards, and I decided to apply. I didn't even know there was a competition. I just needed the card.

Omoooo. That was when I knew it was real. So, na so I go take chop 100k, plus free food. Osheyyyy. The next thing was what to wear, make I no go fall my ancestors' hand. Lol. But first, I needed to find out more about the person I was going on a date with.

She's an influencer, but I had never heard about her before. I suspected she was a Gen Z kind of influencer, and I already knew this 30+ man would have issues. Lol. So, I reached out to my Gen Z matters consultant - Victory. Amazing babe. She told me all I needed to know about my date and advised me on what to wear and how to act. I felt more comfortable after that lecture. Lol.

That day, they told me they would pick me up and drive me to the location. They got to my place by 2 pm, filmed me putting on some accessories and asked questions which I had to answer on camera. I got my date a bottle of wine, as a gentleman that I am naaaa. To be precise, we then drove to a nice restaurant at VI, Moon Village. Nice place.

Oh, I forgot to mention. I wasn't the only one picked for this date. A girl was picked too—Sophia, a lovely girl. We got there earlier and clicked. She was to go on a date with Bryann from Big Brother.

So, after waiting a while, our dates arrived. Frances for me, and Bryann for her. We were ushered to our tables: beautiful time, great food, amazing conversations.

We wrapped everything up, took pictures, and got more gifts. They gave me a goody bag with lots of stuff in it. There was a juice flask, a power bank, towels, chocolates, and a bottle of wine. After that, They also took me back home to rest.

And that ended a fantastic day for me.

Also, I was given an ATM card with 100k preloaded in it.
