2024 Go Whyne You, But No Panic! Maintain Maximum Composure.

So, somehow, we are in the second half of the year. It’s crazy, Mehn. When did we shout ‘Happy New Year?’ lol. Wasn’t it just few weeks ago we entered 2024? Now, we are already preparing our Christmas clothes.

This Tinubu era is just somehow. The year is running very fast so we won’t notice that the prices of foodstuff keep increasing every day. It’s like experiencing your shege, but in fast-forward mode.

Well, it’s been a long time since I wrote to you, so I decided to grace your email boxes today with this beautiful piece. And the central theme of my letter to you today is simple - Don’t lose your composure. Just maintain steeze. No let 2024 whyne you. Compose.

This year has been a ride. I feel like if you live in Nigeria, every year is always a ride. Lmao. But this year’s own came with extra muscle and strength.

For many people, (like me), we didn’t even write any goals or plans to achieve in 2024. We just entered with prayer and hope. God no go sha shame us.

For me, personally, it’s been six months of winging it. I entered the year without any plan, which is very strange because I’m a big planner, especially going into a new year. But somehow, I wasn’t just feeling it, and I just decided to go with God.

My first testimony came in January. And I was like ‘huh, Baba God, na so una dey do am for here?’ You know when you didn’t plan or pray for some miracles. And I’m superbly grateful to Him for it.

I saw a tweet somewhere that said this year is not for unnecessary play. If anyone tells you that you forgot that, no need to argue. Just say yes. Shey the person no see economy? You’ve got to work twice as hard nowadays.

But one thing I know is that e go better.

As we go into this second half, this is not the time to give up or despair. I know it’s hard, but can you pull energy out from somewhere and just try to see it through? No panic, everything go soft. Just stay focused on what you do.

I also need to mention that this is the time to be wise and strategic. Anything that’s not adding to you or to your progress should be sidelined. You don’t need to attend every event, accept every invitation or go everywhere. And brothers, stop womanizing. E no go too pay you this period. Let’s get our priorities right.

The idea is to live within your means, stay on a low, don’t attract unnecessary attention and just stay in your lane. If you’re still trying to impress people this period, then there’s coconut water in your head.

This second half should be about you staying true to your craft, loving God and really trying to reduce that belly fat (I’m also talking to myself here😂).
